Attitude of Gratitude
Week 6
It is so refreshing and energizing to sit down every week and really think about what I have, and how I have so much to be grateful for. It is so easy when we are having struggles, or anytime for that matter, to turn our focus on ourselves and how we feel, not on others. When I become self focused I become selfish, and then it becomes easy to hate my life and let everyone know it. That is one reason I have my weekly gratitude posts, it is mostly for me, to keep my heart open to what I have and what is really most important.
This weeks Gratitude list is a self reflection focus!
I am grateful for:
- My desire to be kind to people
- My good health
- My internal drive to progress and achieve
- Children that love me
- My wife that supports me
- My spiritual growth over the last couple years
- My ability to interact with people
- My love of laughter
- My good friends
- The ability to make and keep friends
- My work ethic
- My love for God
- Being raised by parents who taught me correct principles
- My increasing thirst for knowledge
- My potential to be whatever I want to be
